Hi! My name is Clarissa, and I am an Innovation Academy student at Basehor-Linwood High School. Next year I will be attending Kansas State University to pursue a degree in marketing. My project through the Innovation Academy was to focus on improving The Den, our school coffee shop. I have been a member of The Den for two and a half years now, and it has been a very influential part of my high school experience. Within this, I have learned valuable real skill lessons by helping start not one, but two businesses before the time I was 17. There have been many ups and downs throughout my IA experience, but overall the lessons that I've learned are ones that I will carry with me through my college and professional life.
